1. Services

San Diego CFO Group provides fractional CFO, financial planning, forecasting, unit-economics, and senior financial advisory services to founder-run and growing companies. The specific scope, deliverables, fees, and duration of any engagement are defined in a separate written service agreement between you and San Diego CFO Group. These Terms govern your general use of our website and informational interactions and do not by themselves create a client engagement.

2. No Financial, Legal, or Tax Advice

Content on our website, along with assessments, calls, and general communications made prior to a signed engagement, is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, accounting, investment, legal, or tax advice. You should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of website content without seeking professional advice tailored to your circumstances. A professional advisory relationship is formed only upon execution of a written service agreement.

3. Assessments and Bookings

Our free business assessment and any scheduled calls are working sessions intended to evaluate fit and provide initial insight. When you book an appointment, you agree to provide accurate information and to attend the session at the scheduled time. If you are unable to attend, you agree to notify us or cancel in advance. We reserve the right to reschedule or decline appointments at our discretion.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our website or services to violate any applicable law or regulation; infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any party; transmit malicious code, spam, or fraudulent content; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data; or interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of our website. We may suspend or terminate access for any conduct we believe violates these Terms.

6. Fees and Payment

Fees for services are set out in the applicable service agreement. Unless otherwise stated, invoices are due upon receipt, and late or unpaid amounts may result in suspension of services. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless expressly stated. Any estimates provided prior to engagement are non-binding until confirmed in a written agreement.

7. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to protect the other's confidential information and to use it only for purposes of the engagement. We treat your business, financial, and personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any confidentiality provisions in your service agreement. This obligation survives the termination of any engagement.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, and layouts — is owned by or licensed to San Diego CFO Group and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent. Deliverables produced during an engagement are governed by the terms of the applicable service agreement.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our total aggregate liability relating to the website shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Liability arising under a signed service agreement is governed by that agreement.
